DENR CALABARZON RED meets with Plastic Bank Philippines

Plastic Bank Philippines represented by its Marketing Manager Camille Nunez and South Luzon Branch Coordinator Maria Rizza D. Telan visited the DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria today, September 9, 2022.

The team presented to RED Tamoria their Organization’s commitment to stop plastic waste, especially PET bottles from reaching the ocean. They also discussed the possible future partnership between DENR CALABARZON and their Organization in reducing plastic wastes in the Region.

Plastic Bank Philippines is a social enterprise organization that helped over 108 communities. They have 3,709 registered collectors that have received Php 360M worth of incentives. Through their movement, they are providing livelihood assistance to over 7,068 families in the country. ####
