Calamba City, Laguna – PENRO Laguna, headed by PENRO Eriberto B. Saños and OIC-CENRO Venerando U. Garcia, signified support in the regional launch of Ecological Solid Waste Management (ESWM) advocacy campaign held at DENR CALABARZON Regional Office. During the said launching, Pinas: Basura Buster (PBB) the DENR’s mascot / icon for solid waste management was likewise introduced. The DENR Basura Buster mobile gaming application, a free, web-based application designed for kids to teach proper waste segregation was also launched. 

A provincial launching of the ESWM advocacy campaign will be also conducted across the region in order to intensify and increase public participation especially the youth.
