The PAMO-TVPL Office led by APASu Jasmin Andaya with the assistance of PPOSD-Batangas, Philippine Coast Guard, BFAR-IVA, PNP-MPS-Laurel, PNP-Maritime Group, PNP-Provincial Police Office-Batangas and hired workforce had dismantled/cleared a total of 124 illegal structures consisting of 50 Fish Corrals (Baklad), 58 abandoned fish cages and one (1) Fish Trap (Pagulong) while four (4) Fish Corrals (Baklad) and 11 Fish Trap (Pagulong) were self-dismantled in the lake vicinity of the Brgys. Gulod and Buso-Buso, Laurel, Batangas.

Based on Resolution 91 Series of 2021, operations of the existing Fish Corral (Baklad) in Taal Lake will only be given six (6) months (July-December) to operate. Proper coordination with the concerned LGUs, Agencies and other stakeholders is hereby recommended with regards implementation of the said regulation for the conservation and sustainable development of Taal Lake and TVPL as a whole.
