The Provincial Office of DENR CALABARZON in Quezon warmly welcomed For. Ronilo Salac as its new PENR Officer, replacing For. Raymond Rivera who will assume a similar post in Pangasinan, during the turnover ceremony held on June 16, 2022.
 
Outgoing PENR Officer Rivera improved the online submissions of reports and worked on an easy and timely monitoring of activities by way of visual display in the office, which the public may see.
 
“I am here to accept the responsibilities of PENRO Quezon. Along with the four CENR Officers, we will strive to achieve our accomplishments and targets ahead of time”, PENR Officer Salac said. He also shared that as previous PENR Officer of Laguna, he was implementing programs and at the same time supervising the CENR Office of Sta. Cruz.
 
DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director highlighted that as public servants, all should be flexible, adaptable, and resilient. “I am sure that the gentlemen here, PENRO Oneng and PENRO RR value the same, I am also confident that they will both perform their duties with excellence and utmost diligence”, he added.
 
PENRO Salac served as the PENR Officer of Laguna from 2018 to 2022. He is a licensed Forester and has spent almost 40 years in government service.
 
The new designation is pursuant to the DENR Special Order No. 2022- 448 dated June 14, 2022, signed by the Acting Secretary Jim O. Sampulna. ###
