DENR CENRO Calaca enjoins celebration of Women’s Month

In conjunction with the Women’s Month celebration the DENR CENRO Calaca employees participated in the “Purple Tuesdays”  by wearing anything purple every Tuesday for the whole month of March in support of gender equality and women’s empowerment.

IEC materials such as flyers and coloring books were also distributed to the “Mothers” of CENRO Calaca with kids from toddler to elementary. This will help them introduce to their young ones the initiatives in the protection and conservation of the environment and its ecosystems.

Further, in celebration of the 18th Women with Disabilities Day on March 28, 2022 and in recognition of the Senior Citizens, Masks and alcohol were distributed to the office clients who are Seniors or with disabilities.

CENRO Calaca Employees also participated in the GAD Webinar on Entrepreneurship Program, Pre-retirement Business Opportunity and GAD Laws and Mandates hosted by DENR PENRO Batangas on March 11, 2021.
