CENRO Calauag’s PASA Team distributes 335 notebooks for students, residents living in 3 initial components of ENIPAS

Students and some residents living within the vicinity of Tibiang-Domagondong Watershed Forest Reserve (TDWFR) hold the notebooks distributed by the Protected Area Suitability Assessment (PASA) Team of CENRO Calauag, Quezon. Said notebooks contain an overview on watershed and significant environmental laws that include the Revised Forestry Code of the Philippines (PD 705), Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System Act (RA 11038), and Wildlife Resources Conservation and Protection Act (RA 9147). The same activity was also conducted in the other two (2) initial components of ENIPAS; the Calauag Watershed Forest Reserve (CWFR) and Lopez Watershed Forest Reserve (LWFR). It was spearheaded for this year’s observance of World Wildlife Day, celebrated every March 3. CENRO Calauag targeted to distribute another 300 notebooks in June 2022.
