Cavite PENR Officer Januel R. Peras served as a special guest speaker during the 1st day of the virtual opening ceremony of the weeklong student-teacher activity of the Mitochondrion Society from the Department of Biological Sciences of Cavite State University (CvSU) – Indang, Cavite.

During his message, PENRO Peras highlighted the regulatory services of DENR PENRO Cavite offered to the public. He also shared the PENRO’s current plans and programs that are designed to contribute to the protection and conservation of the environment. He also acknowledged the vital role of the students for their contribution through research and development that could be used as a science-based reference/guide in implementing several environmental conservation undertakings.

He ended his speech with a quotation “In the end, we will conserve only what we love. We will love only what we understand. We will understand only what we are taught.” – Baba Dioum. The virtual guesting was posted in Facebook via the Mitochondrion Society Page. ###
