The CENRO Calauag personnel through the assistance of Calauag Water District and MENRO of Calauag, Quezon, is currently working on the Protected Area Suitability Assessment (PASA) of Calauag Watershed Forest Reserve (CWFR). The undertaking is to determine the suitability of CWFR for establishment as a protected area under Republic Act 11038 or Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System (ENIPAS). Last January, the CENRO Calauag personnel under the Conservation and Development Section (CDS) conducted a Key Informant Interview in Brgys. Anahawan and Yaganak, Calauag, Quezon to have a partial information on the status of the CWFR. The activity is expected to ensue until March of 2022.
