Cavite PENR Officer Januel Peras monitored a 225-hectare Rattan Plantation (52 has CY 2012 and 173 has CY 2014) in Barangay Sapang, Ternate and a portion of 20 hectares Barangay Forest Program in Barangay Pinagsanhan, Maragondon on 17 February 2022. The site visit aims to determine and assess the growth and development of the planted seedlings within the said NGP projects. It is also a way to acknowledge the initiatives of the local partners towards the plantation’s protection and conservation.
