Dalahican Elementary School joins the Tayo Ang Kalikasan Movement of DENR

Lucena City – Tayo Ang Kalikasan (TAK) Focal Person Melinda G. Gordo of CENRO Tayabas conducted a talk about the Tayo Ang Kalikasan initiative of DENR, as well as an orientation on the Ecological Solid Waste Management to Dalahican Elementary School, Lucena City thru Zoom on February 5, 2022.

TAK is a collaborative effort that aims to mobilize stakeholders for the Citizens’ Movement for Environmental Stewardship and Sustainable Development. As an output of this endeavor, an ACTION PLAN will be submitted by the school 15 days after the activity, identifying the issues and concerns that need to be addressed in relation to the environment and natural resources.

The students also planted several Mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) seedlings within the school vicinity, which were provided by CENRO Tayabas.###
