Los Baños, Laguna – The Provincial Environment and Natural Resources Office - Laguna welcomes its new PENR Officer as the turn-over ceremony was conducted between outgoing PENR Officer Ronilo L. Salac to the incoming PENR Officer Eriberto B. Saños last January 14, 2022.

Among the key officials who attended the official turn-over ceremony were Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria, OIC, Assistant Regional Director for Special Concerns Jose Elmer C. Bascos and OIC-CENRO Sta. Cruz Venerando U. Garcia.

DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nilo B. Tamoria congratulated PENRO Laguna and outgoing PENRO Ronilo L. Salac for accomplishing the targets for FY 2021 and commended his efforts and initiatives such as strengthened linkages with various stakeholders, series of tree planting and growing activities and the installation of PENRO Laguna Satellite Office in Biñan.

 Meanwhile, incoming PENRO Eriberto B. Saños highly regards teamwork and collaborative effort. Likewise, he challenged the PENRO Laguna to improve the environmental management in the province and uphold the trust and respect of the public.

PENRO Saños is a licensed Forester and has spent 36 years in government service. He is a Career Executive Service eligible and has served as PENR Officer of Palawan, three (3) years prior to his new assignment. By virtue of DENR Special Order No. 2022-16, PENRO Saños is designated as the new PENR Officer for Laguna. Meanwhile, PENRO Salac shall continue to report to the Office of the RED for his work assignment.
