Calauag, QUEZON ― Community Environment and Natural Resources Officer Joselito D. Barros together with the Calauag Southern Quezon Remate Lions Club led the planting of seven hundred (700) Guyabano seedlings. The planting area is a 100-hectare National Greening Program site located in Barangay Bukal, Calauag, Quezon. The same club was also involved in the clean-up drive conducted along the coasts of Barangays 3 and 4 in Calauag, Quezon held also recently.

Being an active organization involved in different activities related to the conservation and development of the environment, CENRO Calauag currently recommends the said organization to adopt the said NGP Plantation under “Tayo Ang Kalikasan” (TAK), a citizen’s platform for the DENR program for restoration, rehabilitation, and development. ###
