Los Banos, Laguna – Mts. Banahaw-San Cristobal Protected Landscape Protected Area Management Office (MBSCPL-PAMO) through its park rangers distributed a total of 90 information materials containing reliable information on various prohibited acts within a Protected Area (PA) and its corresponding sanctions and penalties under Republic Act No. 11038 or the Expanded National Integrated Protected Areas System (E-NIPAS) Act during their monitoring and patrolling activities. Majority of the recipients of the said info materials were vegetable farmers utilizing the area designated as multiple use zone of the MBSCPL. The information drive also aimed at raising the awareness of the communities in the proper conservation, protection and sustainable management of the MBSCPL.
