DENR PENRO Cavite enjoins the celebration of World Mangrove Day

Thirty-five (35) seedlings of api api were planted in Noveleta Cavite in observance of the celebration of World Mangrove Day 2021.

A clean-up activity was also conducted wherein 34 sacks of garbage were collected with an approximate weight of 250 kilograms composed of PET bottles, single-use plastics, worn out clothes, slippers, and rubber products.

The activity was participated by the volunteers from MENRO and Noveleta River Rangers, local communities, land personnel from Coastal and Marine Management Unit (CMMU) of PENRO Cavite.
