On June 24, 2021, a patrolling activity headed by Barangay Captain Manuel Ramilo of Poblacion 3, Tanauan City was conducted along the riverbank of San Juan River together with the MBSCMO-Batangas staff and the seven (7) River Rangers, who were tasked to clean the stretch of San Juan River in Brgy. Poblacion 3, Tanauan City and Brgy. Sta. Maria, Sto. Tomas City, Batangas.

The activity aims to inform and remind the households residing along the river about the prohibited acts stated under RA 9003 or Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 and RA 9275 or the Philippine Clean Water Act.

IEC materials in the form of booklet containing information of the above-mentioned environmental laws were disseminated.

Be informed that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed in the conduct of the said activity.
