𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗰𝗲𝗮𝗻: 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀

In celebration of the Ocean Day last June 8, 2021, a Coastal Clean-up and IEC Lecture was conducted by the DENR CENRO Calaca in a Biodiversity Friendly Enterprise site located in Brgy. Balaytigue, Nasugbu Batangas.

Present in the said activities are the residents of the Brgy. Balaytigue including the children who voluntarily participated in the Information Education Communication campaign lecture and picking of garbage along the coastal area together with their guardians.

In total, 25 sacks of trash were collected during the coastal cleanup while 25 IEC materials on Ecological Solid Waste Management Act (RA 9003), and Simple Ways on How to Save the Ocean were distributed during the lecture.

Precautionary measures and safety protocols against COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
