CENR Officer Oliver O. Olivo led the celebration of Earth day and International Arbor day in Forest Park and Arboretum at Brgy. Maragondon, Real, Quezon today April 29, 2021.

The activity started with information, education and communication campaign. CENRO Olivo emphasized the importance of planting trees and demonstrated the proper way of planting trees. In his speech, CENRO Olivo, further emphasized the importance of conserving and protecting our environment to prevent the consequences of climate change.

A total of fifty one (51) people participated in the activity that composed of 27 males and 24 females. Brgy. Officials of Brgy. Maragondon, Real Quezon led by Brgy. Chairman Rennessy O. Vergara participated in tree planting activity. One hundred (100) seedlings of Molave (𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘹 𝘱𝘢𝘷𝘪𝘧𝘭𝘰𝘳𝘢) were planted.

The activity was conducted with the existing health and safety protocols due to the spread of COVID 19 pandemic.
