In this year's celebration of Earth Day, a coastal clean-up was conducted on April 22, 2021 at So. Baluti Barangay Cawayan, Real, Quezon.

CENRO Oliver O. Olivo led the  activity with the help of Conservation and Development Section (CDS) Chief Lyra Michaela E. Rivera.  Sixteen (16) personnel consisting of eight (😎 males and eight (😎 females participated in the said activity that yielded an estimated 73 kilos of garbage  along the 4-kilometer coastline of Barangay Cawayan Real, Quezon.

The collected garbage composed of single use plastics, plastic cups,  bottles and diapers were put in the place where it can be properly segregated.

The said activity was conducted in adherence to minimum health protocols of social distancing and wearing of face masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
