A Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) was conducted by CENRO Lipa through the Enforcement and Monitoring Section (EMS) headed by For. III Flordeliza Olave on February 19, 2021.

It was attended by barangay officials and some residents of Brgy. Malitlit, Lipa City, Batangas. The topics discussed during the meeting are: duties and responsibilities of the fire brigade and do’s and don’ts to be observed in the reserve area.

Other relevant topics were also discussed such as guidelines on the issuance of land classification status and public land application. Distribution of IEC materials in the form of pamphlet was also facilitated.

The activity was conducted to strengthen and capacitate partner stakeholders in the protection of forest and its natural resources and to gain support in the fulfillment of DENR mandates and programs.

Be informed that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
