Some PENRO Laguna personnel headed by NGP Focal Person - For. Abigail Valdez participated in the tree planting activity initiated by the Stateland, Inc. (SLI) - a subsidiary of Suntrust Properties, Inc., an estate company which develops subdivisions and industrial projects conducted at San Francisco Heights Subdivision, Palo Alto, Calamba City, Laguna.

The said activity is part of the corporate social responsibility (CSR) of SLI. A total of 100 fruit-bearing seedlings (such as avocado, mango, santol, guyabano and jackfruit) were planted by the participants from SLI, PENRO and local communities.
