Last January 11, 2021, three (3) Community Environment and Natural Resources Officers (CENRO) of DENR CALABARZON assumed new responsibilities as they accepted new place of assignments during a turn over ceremony held at Puerto Real Resort in Real, Quezon.

Outgoing CENRO Lupo T. Telan of CENRO Real will be the incoming CENRO of Catanauan, Quezon while former TSD Chief of PENRO Quezon, Forester Oliver O. Olivo will be the Incoming CENRO of Real, Quezon.  Outgoing CENRO Joselito D. Barros of CENRO Catanauan will be the Incoming CENRO of CENRO Calauag, Quezon. Outgoing CENRO Julieta P. Narte of Calauag, Quezon will assume the post of TSD Chief of PENRO Quezon. 

In his speech, DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo inspired the newly promoted CENROs to make decisions based on existing policy of the department. RED Tamayo further challenged all personnel to remember that one’s loyalty belongs not to the clients of the department nor to the politicians but to the office and to the Filipino people. He emphasized the need to act in unity and to accomplish more to make DENR CALABARZON stand out among the seventeen regions in the country.

Aside from the newly promoted CENROs, other DENR CALABARZON officials who witnessed the turnover ceremony were Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo, Assistant Regional Director for Technical Services Alfredo C. Palencia, Assistant Regional Director for Management Services Nelson V. Gorospe, PENRO Ramil R. Limpiada, Regional Executive Assistant Arnold Arbolado, AO 1V Belma Abad, Accountant Ramona  De Mesa, MSD Chief, Galo C. Martinez, Jr., PENRO Information Officer Julie Abuejela, CENRO Raymond Rivera, CENRO Victor Mercado, guests and DENR CENRO Real personnel.

The said activity was conducted with safety measures such as wearing of face masks/face shields and maintaining physical distancing to curb the spread of COVID 19.
