A letter of Agreement (LOA) signing was held at the barangay hall of Barangay Magsaysay Infanta, Quezon on November 11, 2020 between DENR and beneficiaries of Family Approach Program. A total of twenty (20) families from Barangay Magsaysay Infanta, Quezon will benefit from the Family Approach Program. Regional Assistant NGP Coordinator Yul Jose Malicsi, CENRO Real NGP Focal Person For. Zaira Jane O. Empamano and Barangay Captain Ulpiano Crisostomo witnessed the signing of the contract.

In a memorandum signed by DENR Secretary Roy A. Cimatu on May 06, 2020, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) is now adopting the “family approach program” as one of the modes of engaging families in the National Greening Program. Pursuant to DENR Administrative Order No. 2019-03 or the Revised Implementing Rules and regulations for Executive Order No. 193, Series of 2015, the partnership of families with DENR in developing plantations and rehabilitating qualified areas for National Greening Program was facilitated.

The said activity was conducted with safety measures such as wearing of face masks and observing physical distancing to curb the spread of COVID-19.
