A Philippine Cobra (Naja philippinensis) categorized as Other Threatened Species by the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) was handed over to DENR CENRO Lipa by Mr. Jose Antonio Uy, a concerned citizen of Brgy. Rizal, Lipa City, Batangas on September 30, 2020.

The said wildlife was then brought to the DENR 4A Regional Wildlife Rescue Center on October 1, 2020 for necessary care and supervision.

Be informed further that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
