On September 22-25, 2020, selected personnel from the Conservation and Development Section headed by Senior EMS Josefa Lozada joined the team headed by the DENR Regional Office IV-A (CALABARZON) on the conduct of field validation and site assessment of Established NGP Plantation for C.Y. 2016 in Mt. Malarayat, Brgy. Malitlit, Lipa City, Batangas. The team was also participated-in by members of the Malitlit Nature Savers Association Inc., the People’s Organization in the area, to facilitate the identification and determination of the site and planted seedlings of coffee and rattan to be validated and assessed.

The activity was conducted as part of the Key Priority Programs of the DENR and to facilitate the determination whether the plantation pass the criteria to qualify for the Enhancement Planting program of the DENR.
