In celebration of the International Coastal Cleanup 2020, DENR-CENRO Lipa staff Forest Rangers Primitivo A. Buagas and Cristina M. Salas, together with the 401st Maritime Police Station, headed by Deputy Station Chief PLt. Gerardo S. Balaba, had conducted a coastal cleanup activity in Brgy. Sta. Clara Aplaya, Batangas City on September 18, 2020.

The said activity was participated-in by eight (8) personnel from the 401st Maritime Police Station and some local residents in the area. The group was able to collect three (3) sacks of garbage composed mainly of diapers, plastic bottles, fish nets, plastic cups, cigarette butts, Styrofoam, shampoo sachets and junk food wrappers.

Further, be informed that all precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
