On August 18, 2020, DENR CENRO Lipa team composed of personnel from the CDS conducted a monitoring activity on the reported roosting sites of giant flying fox species in So. Dao and So. Panlalaguan, Brgy. Laiya Aplaya, San Juan, Batangas.
 
IEC on the importance of the conservation and protection of flying fox species was also conducted to supplement the activities which was participated-in by the brgy officials and local residents in the area.
 
Be informed further that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
