Monitoring of foraging sites of giant flyong fox conducted by DENR CENRO Lipa

On August 13, 2020, DENR CENRO Lipa team composed personnel from the CDS headed by SEMS Josefa Lozada conducted a monitoring activity on the reported foraging sites of giant flying fox species in Brgys. Lagadlarin and Soloc, Lobo, Batangas.

The team sighted 4 species of flying fox in Brgy. Lagadlarin which ID will further be verified. IEC on the importance of the conservation and protection of flying fox species was also conducted to supplement the activities which was participated-in by the brgy officials and local residents in the area.

Be informed further that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
