Eco-gardening is one of the implementing activities of Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program (San Juan River System) for CY 2020. This activity aims to promote waste diversion and clean and green environment. To capacitate the participants (LGUs and communities) of the activity, MBSCMO-Batangas personnel conducted an IEC meeting on solid waste management, composting and vertical/eco-gardening on July 16-17, 2020 and August 7, 2020 in selected barangays of Malvar and Sto. Tomas City.

IEC material in the form of booklet containing information on RA No. 9003, RA No. 9275, guides in composting and construction/establishment of vertical gardens and pre-collected PET Bottles were distributed.

Be informed that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed in the conduct of the said activity.
