Green sea turtle rescued at Brgy. Matandang Sabang Kanluran, Catanauan, Quezon. The marine turtle was found entangled in a fishing net by Ms. Sarah Florido Dural et. al. while they were walking along the coastal area of the said barangay.

The DENR personnel immediately advised them on the proper measures to be undertaken in order to save the marine turtle. Fortunately, the marine turtle has no abrasion and is still healthy. Likewise, the DENR advised them to continue supporting the Marine Turtle Conservation Program in the area.
