One Luzon Bleeding Heart Pigeon (Gallicolumba luzonica) was turned-over to DENR CENRO Calaca last June 10, 2020.

Currently, the Luzon Bleeding Heart Pigeon is listed as Near Threatened by IUCN. This is due to the species being threatened to habitat loss and fragmentation through deforestation for timber extraction and agricultural lands.
