In response to the email complaint forwarded to denr4a hotline 8888 re: Charcoal Making in Barangay Acacia, Silang, Cavite. PENRO Cavite personnel together with MENRO Silang conducted a ground investigation to verify the complaint.

It was confirmed that the materials used in charcoal making are trees along the riverbanks.

The confiscated sacks of charcoal shall be hauled and placed at the DENR PENRO Cavite Impounding area located in Pueblocillo, FCIE, Dasmarinas City, Cavite.
