Community Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) Calauag released two species of rescued sea turtles in the coasts of Alabat, Quezon, late February 2020.

In Barangay 3, Alabat, a critically endangered female "hawksbill turtle" with a carapace length of 71 cm and a width of 68 cm was rescued on February 26 by a resident fisherman, Hipolito Endolina.
