DENR CENRO Lipa conducted a “Scubasurero” (Underwater Clean up) last May 11, 2021 within Sawang-Olo-Olo Fish Sanctuary and Refuge located at Barangay Sawang, Lobo, Batangas.

It was facilitated by personnel/licensed divers from the Conservation and Development Section of this Office and participated-in by representatives from local Bantay-Dagat/Blue Brigade members.

A total of fifteen (15) kilograms of wastes were collected which mainly composed of nylon strings, cloth and sacks.

Be informed further that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
