On April 22, 2021, CENRO Lipa through MBSCMO-Batangas personnel conducted  a Communication, Education and Public Awareness (CEPA) on Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000 (RA 9003), Philippine Clean Water Act of 2004 (RA 9275), Manila Bay Rehabilitation Program (AO No. 16), composting and vertical/eco-gardening in Barangay Santiago, Malvar and Barangay San Isidro Norte, Santo Tomas City, Batangas.

The activity aims to inform and capacitate the LGUs on the implementing rules and regulations under the said laws and to promote waste diversion and clean and green environment through eco-gardening program.

IEC materials on RA No. 9003, RA No. 9275, guides in composting and construction/establishment of vertical gardens were distributed.

Be informed that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed in the conduct of the said activity.
