Camp-Hike-Plant conducted in the province of Rizal

DENR CALABARZON through the initiative of PENRO Rizal conducted a Camp-Hike-Plant activity in Brgy,. Cayabu, Tanay, Rizal last November 26-28, 2020 in celebration of the National Environmental Awareness Month, Global Warming and Climate Change Consciousness Week and National Day for Youth in Climate Action.

The three-day activity involved environmental discussions, hands-on activities and tree planting in Mt. Maynuba, Tanay, Rizal.

Youth representatives and information officers from the provinces of Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, and Quezon participated in the said activity.

A total of 500 seedlings of native flowering and indigenous species were planted during the said event.
