Memorandum of Agreement Signing between DENR CALABARZON, SMCGP Philippines Power Foundation, Inc, and Partner People's Organization last November 18, 2020 for the launching of coral reef rehabilitation program in Pagbilao, Quezon under the Ridge to Reef Conservation Program and Coastal and Marine Ecosystem Management Program, and for the  adoption and protection of NGP plantations in Pagbilao, Quezon and Kalayaan, Laguna.

During the activity, DENR CALABARZON Regional Executive Director Nonito M. Tamayo encouraged the public to aim for an increased forest cover of the Region of up to 30%, or around 480 has. "With the help of civic groups, we can achieve the target in the years to come", he added.

The activity is enrolled under the "Tayo Ang Kalikasan" program of the DENR. Tayo ang Kalikasan is envisioned to be a collaborative effort of DENR and its citizens toward responsible development of our natural resources and to ensure the restoration, rehabilitation, and enhancement of the environment.
