DENR CENRO Lipa conducts IEC Activity in San Juan, Batangas

DENR CENRO Lipa headed by OIC-CENRO Januel R. Peras, together with EMB PEMO Luisa M. Garcia and staff of Enforcement and Monitoring Section of CENRO Lipa, conducted an IEC Activity in the Municipality of San Juan, Batangas. The activity, in coordination with the Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office, was attended by various stakeholders/proponents of leveling and quarrying activities, barangay executives and officers, Sangguniang Bayan members, the Municipal Planning and Development Coordinator, the Municipal Mayor and Councilors of San Juan.

The said IEC Activity served as a venue to introduce and explain applicable permits such as Quarry Permit, Tree Cutting Permit, Land Development Permit, and Special Permit to Transport and Dispose to all the attendees. Also emphasized  is the importance of ECC as a planning tool for any developmental activities    to safeguard the environment.

Be informed further that all the precautionary measures and safety protocols re: COVID-19 threat were properly practiced and observed during the said activity.
