Rosario, Cavite – conduct of the simultaneous cleanup on September 21, 2019, in line with the celebration of the International Coastal Cleanup 2019 with the theme: “Battle for the Litter-Free Seas”. Cleanup site for Cavite is a 350-meters stretch located at Isla Bonita, Brgy. Rosario. A total of 263 sacks with an approximate weight of 2,704 kg of wastes were collected. The wastes were motly composed of plastics (sachets, bags, wrappers), worn-out clothes, rope, fishnets, and biodegradable wastes like wood, stems, and twigs.
