Alutaya, represented DENR Calabarzon Regional Director Reynulfo Juan, was elated with the Batangas City LGU’s accomplishment and congratulated the awardees. “I am sure you will have peace of mind with the lands your homes are built upon are now officially yours, titled to your name,” she said. The Handog Titulo is a DENR-Batangas City LGU Partnership public land titling and surveys program launched on February 4, 2014 and became operational in February 26, 2014 with the setting up of Land Management Council and beefing up of the City ENRO’s Land Management Unit. The 22 titles awarded on February 24, form part of the first batch of processed land patents. Also present during the awarding rites were former Mayor Vilma Dimacuha and Registry of Deeds-Batangas’ Atty. Edwin Lagac.
