The vice president stated the importance of her visit as well as her priorities which all gear towards the good and welfare of the country’s poor and marginalized communities.

Her major commitments include zero hunger, shared prosperity and gender equality.

Congresswoman Tan expressed her gratitude to the honorable guest of honor for giving time to visit the far-flung part of Quezon province and for assuring her future assistance to its locals.

Iparating niyo po ang aking pasasalamat sa lahat po ng namumuno ng iba’t ibang ahensya – DSWD [Department of Social Welfare and Development], DOLE [Department of Labor and Employment], DTI [Department of Trade and Industry], DOH [Department of Health], TESDA [Technical Skills and Development Authority], DPWH [Department of Public Works and Highways], Department of Tourism [DOT]…DA [Department of Agriculture], DAR [Department of Agrarian Reform], DENR…PCA [Philippine Coconut Authority], yan po ang ating mga naging katuwang para po maihatid sa inyo ang serbisyong tunay at natural,” the district representative cited as she recognized the government agencies which have extended assistance in her programs and projects.
